Description
Technical and challenging yet fun 9-hole course winds through Clark Park in Molalla, OR. Designed by local legend Jerry Miller - who owns Disc Golf Depot in Gresham and has designed several other courses in the area, including Timber Park in Estacada - the course features a nice mix of RHBH/RHFH holes, a couple of ace runs, a couple of longer holes (320-350), as it follows a down-and-back style flow through the city park. Other park users sometimes frequent with dogs and kids, and are usually not accustomed to disc golfers. The course has concrete teepads and nice Bentley baskets that catch very well. Parking on the north and south side of the course - south side starts at hole 6, but wraps around so you can start at 6 and end at 5. A very strong course for just nine holes; you'll need more than just a putter. NOTE: the City has installed a metal fence directly in front of hole 6's teepad. Move to the right a few feet for a clean shot, or throw over the 3-foot fence if you want more of a challenge.

Hole 3 has a mando to the left of a big tree (painted arrow denotes mando), forcing a big RHBH turnover shot that flexes back as the ideal drive. Hole 6 has a mando to the right of the first tree (painted arrow denotes mando), which forces a RHBH/LHFH 180-foot hyzer shot.
