Description

Rose Lane is a really fun course! It's located at the back of Rose Lane Park in Toccoa. The first tee pad is located by the back parking lot on the right side, near a baseball field. This course has a variety of holes, some are wide open, and others are in the woods. Some holes are huge uphill shots, while others are wide-open downhill bombs. The variety of holes really adds to the enjoyability of this course. Some holes have alternate tee pads, others do not. Even on the longer pads, I think this course is pretty generous with the par. My first time playing this course I shot -3, which is one of best scores for a course. It also would be pretty difficult to lose a disc on this course, which is always a plus.  I've never been here and had it crowded. There are almost always other players, but I've never had to wait on anyone. My concerns with the course are that the tee pads are short, the shortest I've seen on a course. Not much of a run up is possible. Also, even though I've played this course a few times, I've never found the tee pad on 18, and another section can be quite confusing to find the tee pads as well. They could have much better signage for to prevent this. This doesn't stop me from going out and playing here though! Still one of my favorite courses, especially to take new players to.
