Description

The disc golf course on campus at Eastern Illinois University is a 9-hole layout that is fairly open and fairly beginner friendly.  The layout is relatively easy to navigate, although checking the map beforehand or as you go does help your first time out.  There are a good mix of short, medium, and long holes with varying pars.  On some holes, the baskets have a good amount of well-positioned trees as obstacles to make things interesting.  The course does have some areas of very high grass, which can make spotting a disc tricky, so be sure to watch your throws and spot for the other players in your group to save time.  The course does also run alongside a popular running trail on a few holes, so please watch for and respect any joggers out and about.
