Championship 18 hole course with red(short) and blue (long) baskets permanently installed and three tee pads for each hole (white= short, blue=medium, gold= epic) giving you 6 layouts to play. It is a mix of wooded and open shots with elevation changes, a water hazard, ob hazards and a variety of wildlife. The course fit well onto what was once 9 holes of a ball golf course in the community located in the back of the Shannendoah Crossings Resort. It was so overgrown that it hides its ball golf course roots well and some foliage has grown sparsely throughout the fairways. The place is beautiful. Another John Biscoe lovechild. Word on the street is, another 18 holes are coming to the venerable woods and fairways of the remaining 9 abandoned ball golf holes.  No you are not dreaming, but pinch yourself to be sure. The facility also provides a 9 hole par 2 course with two sets of natural pads. Perfect for warming up, quick fun or for new or younger players. Pay to play and owner contact required as they must communicate player arrival with the resort security station for a pass to enter. The old clubhouse was redone and is now a fully equipped disc golf pro shop. With a sprawling porch. It is truly a perfect place for an outing or event.   The resort has rv camping, cabin rentals and a hotel. Three swimming pools, hot tubs, a splash pad, a general store with snack bar, a resturaunt, bar, massages, horseback riding, hiking trails, playgrounds, basketball/tennis courts mini golf as well as a lake with kayak/canoe rentals and catch and release fishing. This makes it a perfect stop on your disc golf trip, as you can stay so close to the course and enjoy all the other amenities.  Did you pinch yourself?
