Description

There are only one set of tee pads and pin locations for each hole. The signage only describes the distance and the par, there is no map on any of the signs. They are nice secure signs with no possibility of being ruined by the elements, secured to 4x4's. The tee pads are rubber. During the summer the grass grows through the holes in the rubber mats and become basically grass tee pads. The course is fairly new and is still undergoing changes. Bridges are currently being installed on holes 4 and 16. The first few holes take place in moderately wooded areas and then the courses opens up with some longer open holes. The park itself does not interfere with the DGC. You mainly stay on the edge of the park as you play the course. Typically away from any other non-disc golfer. There are 3 small creeks that come into play on some courses, even to the point where when the water is high on holes 6 and 7 you may possibly lose a disc if you are not careful with your shot selection. Can be a difficult course to play after it has rained as some areas are not heavily grassed and become very slick and muddy. There is no course map on any type of marquee when you begin the course. There is a practice basket with marked 5 feet intervals moving outwards from the basket up to 40 feet. The course is rarely busy as it is both new and challenging.
