Description

Solitude Mountain Resort is a beautiful course, usually open to disc golf late spring to fall. The course is a full 18 with an additional 9 letter holes starting after #14.  The letter holes loop back to #15. Soltiude is a mountain course that uses the ski runs during the off-season for some epic disc golf. Hole #18 is a huge downhill shot back at the resort. There are multiple pin locations, the short is about 793 ft., and the long is 1219 feet! The course is free to play, $10 lift tickets are available to ride to hole #1 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. You can also get to hole #1 by hiking along the Lake Solitude Trail, it takes 15-20 minutes. For this hike, parking is available at the Solitude Nordic Center near the Brighton store. You can leave a second vehicle at Solitude's lower lot to drive back.
