Description

18-basket course located in a scenic park on the Southwest side of Chicago. Well-planned and executed use of land that was once a famed Chicago Country Club. Changes in elevation, excellent use of tall, mature oak trees and some vast open fairways make this a course to be reckoned with. Several fairways over 500-feet (from the long tees) and several 250' - 350' (from the regular tees) offer challenges to players at all skill levels. The Village of Evergreen Park has done a great job since opening 50-Acre Park several years ago. Good signage, although the dual tee-pads can confuse players new to the course. The final challenge on this just over 5000' (playing shorts) and nearly 7000' (playing long) course is #18, which plays over water. Overall a great course, close for city-slingers and worth the trip for everyone else.
