Description
Tyler State Park (one of the top rated courses in the country) features 36 mostly wooded holes with lots of elevation (Especially on the West 18). Left Handed course architect and groundskeeper Joe Mela's design provides a large number of course variations that are challenging for throwsers from both sides of the tee. The East 18 is older with a little less elevation change and the fairways are more worked in with several water and path OB's. The West 18 is newer with thicker less worked in fairways and more significant elevation change. This course provides challenging technical golf that requires a variety of throws and approaches to the game for beginners, intermediate, and professional players alike. Almost all holes have multiple pin placements and many holes have dual tees. A billboard in the main parking lot by #1 shows the current layout as well as the current Pars for the course. Further details on this course are available on the club's website: http://www.bcdga.com
