Description

"Grip it and rip it" best describes this course or as the name describes it is a Boomers course. Fairly wide open course with some lengthy par 3's (#10 @ 725'). When you want to stretch your arm out around stillwater this is the course. Signature hole is #7 where you throw from a slightly elevated teepad over the water, once you have cleared the water hazard you must hit a gap between mature trees and over low brush to an eleveated tee. If you clear the water and gap you are looking at a birdie. A low throw and you are in the drink and go to the drop zone, or if you miss the gap you have to fight out of dense brush. My biggest complaint at Boomer is the small teepads, goose poop, and the freaking wind. It is wide open to the Oklahoma winds.
