Description
A good mixture of open shots and wooded holes. The tree holes are not too tight, however hole 14 is pretty narrow but it is only 215, goes uphill fairly quickly and bends to the right. I really love this course! There are some birdie opportunities on some shorter technical shots (230-360). Then you can let it loose on some open 400ft holes too. Holes 10 and 11 offer an intriguing basket location on the top of a small domed hill. The green is slow on these holes but if a disc lands too much on its side you will have a roll away of about 40 ft, it's fun putting though! Be careful on hole 6, there is a small raven to the left that is pretty difficult to get your disc back. It's a sweet looking shot from the tee box and is about 330ft and goes downhill roughly 60ft with 3 or 4 huge trees guarding the basket. In the winter it is a cool looking shot, you can see through the leafless trees and the Ohio river is right in the background. Be mindful of the weather, the course doesn't drain well on holes 1, 9, 10, 18 and the practice basket. Water will puddle up in areas there and without water-proof shoes your feet will get wet. Other than those holes the course drains fine. Over the hole course, if it's been raining alot, it looks worse than it is as a whole. This is because when you pull up those holes are all right by the parking lot. Keep an eye out for walkers as an asphalt path winds through the course. Overall a very fun course that isn't too hard to walk but does have some elevation changes.

There is a sign in sheet that helps the park with the amount of play that comes through. Other than the walking path play is pretty much normal. There is men's league play Wednesday afternoon's through the summer but the course is still open to public, might just have to skip around a little but can still play all the holes.
