Description

Nelson Park Disc Golf Course offers a challenge to intermediate and advanced disc golfers.  Because of the length and control needed on several holes to either attack the basket or safely lay-up, noob beginners may find themselves over their heads. The course has a good mix of tight holes through wooded areas and also some more open holes.  Having your fellow group members spot for you on the tighter holes may reduce the time you need to find an errantly thrown disc.  There are also several elevations changes along the course and even some blind shots.  Many of the baskets are tucked away in corners or very close to trees, but never in an unfair way. Overall, the course is a good challenge if you are a player who is looking to take their game to the next level.
